I have chased a stick LP640 for nearly eight years now. I fell in love with the idea of a green stick Murci with this Verde Draco manual press car as Jeremy Clarkson drove it on Top Gear, extolling the virtues of a proper gearbox. I tried to buy a barely used Orange one in 2007 to be part of my rental fleet. When I began working at Lamborghini Atlanta in 2009, I started trying again to buy that same car. Last week, I sold that car again, but it had become too rich for my blood.
In October of 2013, just a couple weeks before I set the NY to LA Cannonball Record, I sold another manual LP640 to a repeat client in North Carolina. I was dumping money in the record project and couldn’t justify the purchase myself at the time. This car was Verde Ithaca. Ever since then I have been trying to buy it back from the guy.
Last Friday he called and he was ready to sell it. I immediately agreed to buy it from him, I got my Rosso Vik car sold, and got the financing set up for the new car. It arrived a few days later and I am smitten. It is painted Verde Ithaca with a Nero Perseus & Verde Ulysses Interior, Q Citura Stitching, and full carbon fiber. It is one of very few true manual gearbox LP640’s in the US and it is the only Green coupe. I haven’t had a gated shifter exotic since my 360 Spider. Needless to say, I am very excited about it. With my Rosso Vik car leaving the state, I believe that keeps the number of LP640’s in GA at 6 (this Green 08 Coupe, Blu Cepheus 08 Coupe, Balloon White 07 Roadster w/60k miles, Black 07 Roadster, Black 08 Coupe, Yellow 09 Coupe).
Lots of the manual cars have fairly low options (you saved $10k by not checking the E-Gear box) but this one is extremely well equipped. It was subject to the late 08 MSRP increase so it was nearly as high as my 08 Orange Roadster.

The car has the factory 3 piece luggage kit, all original keys, books, tools, and packaging, and is as close to new as a pre-owned car can be. I am floored at how perfect it is.
Thank you to Bryant at White Glove Transport for a great job getting the car to me.
Thank you to Ben Muldoon at Woodside Credit for another great car loan.
For a few minutes, I had all three of the LP640’s that I have owned at the dealership. We took some better pictures but here are a few.
Too bad we didn’t have a Yellow and Blue Gallardo around:
Here are some photos from its first #LamboRoadTrip.
Here is a video from the first few months with the car.
Here are some photos taken in a local parking deck.
