Ed’s Car History: 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo

In 2007 I bought this car for a friend whom I owed a favor. He assured me that he would pay me back for it and, of course, never did. I didn’t see the car until 2009 but at that point I was the reluctant owner of a 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo. It was probably not a car I would have just gone out and bought myself were it not for this scenario but it was a fun car to play around with for a little while. I drove it a few times but sold it fairly quickly. It had a lot of modifications – new engine management, nitrous oxide, BBS wheels, upgraded/lowered suspension, a fairly decent sound system, etc.
