Meetings 1 & 2 of the Fraternity of Lunatics

One of the greatest things about holding the New York to Los Angeles Cannonball Record has been all of the amazing people that I have met through the process. Those who have attempted it in the past as well as those who aspire to try it one day are an absolute blast to talk to. The stories, ideas, and enthusiasm is something that I truly love. Our affection and slightly self deprecating name for the group of people who are affiliated with this sort of thing is the Fraternity of Lunatics. A couple of months ago I invited a group of them into my home for dinner. It was a great night.
Last week some of who are local to Atlanta (along with some ambitious out of towners) met at Gio’s Chicken to continue the discussion.
We also got to celebrate the recent record set driving from Jacksonville to San Diego. It was a great night. Definitely looking forward to the next one.
