In response to my recent post on Lamborghini Murcielago Production Numbers, I got several requests to do a breakdown of Gallardo production numbers. I accessed the same data from Volkswagen Annual Reporting via Wikipedia and these are the numbers:
2003 – 933 Coupes
2004 – 1,294 Coupes
2005 – 947 Coupes, 25 Spyders
2006 – 626 Coupes, 1,025 Spyders
2007 – 936 Coupes, 1,015 Spyders
2008 – 1,206 Coupes, 581 Spyders
2009 – 462 Coupes, 460 Spyders
2010 – 817 Coupes, 247 Spyders
Additional Production Numbers
2006 Gallardo SE – 250 Units
2007 Gallardo Nera – 185 Units
2008 Superleggera – 172 for US (10 White, 34 Gray, 37 Black, 45 Yellow, 46 Orange)
2010 LP550-2 Valentino Balboni – 250 Units
2011 LP550-2 Bicolore – 250 Units
2012 LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale – 150 Units
The production statistics above total 10,574 with 7,221 Coupes and 3,353 Spyders. They are still being produced so these numbers are not final. The most recent new car that we received, the 2012 LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale was production number 11,741.
EDIT – They ended production with 14,022 units. It made Gallardos the majority of Lamborghinis in existence but also remaining considerably more rare than either the Ferrari 360, F430, or 458.
