It has been a year and the statute of limitations is over in most of the country so I decided to go ahead and post the data from the New York to Los Angeles drive. On October 19-20, 2013 I drove from the Red Ball Parking Garage in New York City to the Portofino Hotel & Marina in Redondo Beach, California in 28 hours 50 minutes and 26 seconds. My co-driver was Dave Black and my support passenger and navigator was Dan Huang. It took an amazing team of people to pull off and I will never be able to thank them all enough.

Here is a link to the PDF report from GeoForce, the third party tracking company that we used to document the trip.

They prepared this certification letter for it as well.

The pursuance of this record has taken many forms over the course of the past 45 years. Today, it consists of teams like ours that attempt it individually and need to use means like this to document and verify the attempts. The great thing about the third party tracking data is that it makes it very easy to see the information and digest it. You can see how our speed varied in different areas of the country and how it all culminated in rolling into the Portofino so far ahead of what we thought was possible.
I am working on a book to document the years leading up to the attempt and the drive itself. There are some film projects and television concepts in the works but I am truly enjoying being part of the family of Cannonballers and happy to help anyone that I can by answering questions and making myself available.
