A list of all of the first generation manual Lamborghini Murcielago Roadsters in the US

After seeing the lists that I had put together of Manual Lamborghini Murcielago LP640’s in the US, Manual Transmission LP generation Gallardso in the US, and LP670-4 SuperVeloces in the US, a frequent reader of my site sent me an email. He had been shopping for a first generation manual transmission Murcielago and had made a list of them. I thought I would go ahead and put up a post, even though the list is currently incomplete. If you own one of these cars or know of some, I would love to add yours to the list. Please comment or shoot me an email.

Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster with 6 speed manual gearbox

These cars were built from 04-06 but all were titled in the US as 2005 and 2006 models. The only visible difference between the 05 and the 06 is that the 06 has additional vents on the underside of the exhaust tips.

2005 Cars

1342 – Nero Pegaso/Nero Perseus & Avorio Lilium
1352 – Azzuro Aquarius
1356 – Gray/Black
1365 – White/Black
1441 – Black/Navy
1511  – Yellow/Black
1543 – Giallo Orion/Black
1559 – Arancio Atlas/Black
1574 – Arancio Atlas/Black
1588 – Yellow/Black
1599 – Yellow/Sportivo Black & Yellow
1612 – Yellow/Sportivo Black & Yellow
1637 – Silver
1647 – Oro Adonis/Black

2006 Cars

1726 – Bianco Isis/Black & White
1744 – Orange/Orange
1770 – Blue/Black
1933 – Giallo Orion/Sportivo Black & Yellow
1953 – Black/Black
1970 – Arancio Atlas/Black & Orange
2048 – Orange/Black

The other person’s research showed an additional 16 cars where the VIN could not be identified. There are 20 in the list above with VINs. Obviously this is currently incomplete but my guess is that the total number is less than 50. As you are looking around, you will notice that the VINs will decode as ZHWGU for US Murcielago. Then will have 26M for manual transmission gen 1 Murcielago.

Canadian Cars

1359 – Yellow/Black
1454 – Black/Black & Red
1948 – Grigio Avalon/Rosso

I remember only 3 – 4 years ago when Ferrari 550 Barchetta Roadsters were selling consistently under 200K. With 448 built, mostly gated 6-spds, Barchettas have nearly tripled in value. Given the rarity of the gated Murci roadsters, these have gotta be next. I love the Ferrari, but gated Murcis are far more rare, and, dare I say it, more iconic & desirable (at least in my humble opinion)…will be interesting to watch price trends….
