Video of the Blu Cepheus 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4

One of the most famous cars that we have ever sold just came through here again. It is a 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 that is painted in a very unique color of blue called Blu Cepheus. This was a color used by Lamborghini to show off their Ad Personam capabilities at the 2008 New York Auto Show. We sold an LP640 Roadster in Blu Cepheus to Young Jeezy years ago and that inspired the original owner of this car to order the car in this color. He later upgraded the car to an LP570-4 Superleggera look with a new front bumper, rear bumper and diffuser, side skirts, mirrors, and fixed carbon fiber rear wing. The car looks phenomenal. Here are some pictures of it - http://edbolian.com/?p=2407. In the recent movie, The Dictator, they actually wrapped 4 Murcielagos in this color. Here are some other pictures of the car on a mountain run with us - http://edbolian.com/?p=3266.

Lamborghinis and The Dictator

Sasha Baron Cohen has recently released his new movie, The Dictator and there is some great Lamborghini content. He arrived to the movie’s premier being towed in a booted LP570-4 Performante and the movie features a fleet of Murcielagos that are used in the movie. The color chosen for the Murcielagos is Blu Cepheus, a very rare color for the car (only 2 US cars were painted this color from the factory). Therefore, the cars were actually other colors and were wrapped in this color. Here is a picture of the Murcielagos.

Ed’s 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo is for sale!

I have enjoyed owning this 2004 Gallardo more than any other exotic car I have owned. It is my second Gallardo and I bought it in September 2011. I have loved every second of it. We went through the car when it was traded in here and did every service item imaginable. We did a clutch, rear main seal, front main seal, replaced all fluids and did all items for a 15k service, replaced the tires, painted the wheels, inspected the entire car, checked the shift functionality, fixed some radio wiring, and got the car 100% ready to go. We addressed each of the issues that I wrote about here for my PPI checklist. The car has approximately 38,500 miles. It is painted Blu Caelum over Avorio Lilium. It has an alcantera headliner, bi-color elegante interior, red painted brake calipers, and special order paint. The rear bumper appears to have been painted but it was a very good job and nothing structural seems to have been affected.

It has performed seamlessly for me. The only two issues were a small coolant tube leak from the reservoir (easily repaired) and I replaced the tail lights because I preferred them not to be tinted and the contacts were a bit worn. The car has an LOC exhaust that sounds incredible and gives the car an extra bit of power (it will occasionally cause the check engine light to come on but it cycles off). The car passed Georgia emissions this year. It also has had the factory tape deck radio replaced with a Kenwood touchscreen head unit with Garmin Navigation and a very nicely integrated backup camera. This was the same system that was used in the 2008 LP640.

It is a perfect Gallardo to drive and enjoy without having to worry about mileage or maintenance. It has a few small rock chips and minor scratches and interior wear consistent with mileage but it is a very nice car that drives spectacularly. I have had a blast owning this one but another car from my bucket list has become available and I would really like to be able to move on it. I just had our service department do an annual service on it, the brakes have approximately 50% life remaining, and the car needs nothing.

The price is $85,000. I have it titled personally so if there is a benefit for you in a private party purchase, you can buy it straight from me. If you would prefer to purchase it from Lamborghini Atlanta we can do that and help you to arrange financing. I have 2 keys, the owner’s manuals, service records, and a variety of interesting dealership materials from when the car was originally released.

Ed’s Car History: 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo #2

Wednesday I finalized the purchase of a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe. I had been out of the ownership circle for too long and it is great to be back. The car is Blue Caelum over Avorio Lilium. The car just had a huge service done with a new clutch, throwout bearing, flywheel, rear main seal, front main seal, new tires, full 30k service, and a few cosmetic items. It is ready to go with about 34k miles. Here are a few pictures.
